Privacy Policy
Last updated September 9, 2026
This policy explains what information RedOwl (“we”, “us”) collects when a business uses our platform to connect and manage WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram conversations, and how that information is handled.
Information we collect
- Account details you provide when you register: name, email address, and workspace name.
- Messaging data: messages, contact profile info (name, phone number or platform-scoped ID), tags, and custom fields your business exchanges with its own customers through a connected channel.
- Channel credentials: access tokens and page/account identifiers issued by Meta when you connect a WhatsApp, Messenger, or Instagram channel, stored so we can send and receive messages on your behalf.
- Usage data: log-ins, API request metadata, and error logs used to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
- To deliver the service: routing messages, running your automations, and sending broadcasts.
- To provide support and respond to requests you send us.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet Meta Platform Terms obligations for apps built on the Meta Graph API.
What we don't do
- We don't sell customer or contact data to third parties.
- We don't use your customers' message content to train models outside serving your own AI Reply feature, if you enable it.
Data retention and deletion
Messaging data and contacts are retained for as long as your workspace is active. You can request deletion of your workspace's data, or of a specific contact's data, by contacting us (see below) or through the account deletion instructions on our Data Deletion page.
